Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2


Earlier reports revealed that “Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2” made $168.6 million in 4,375 locations in the US alone, after making $42.8 million last Saturday.
With this, adding both local and international ticket sales of the last “Harry Potter” film means a total of around $476 million, beating “Harry Potter and the Half-Blood Prince” which made $394 million on its opening.
Harry Potter is truly a cultural phenomenon the world over,” Warner Bros Pictures International president Veronika Kwan-Rubinek was quoted on reports.
“We congratulate everyone associated with the films on this monumental achievement.” Kwan-Rubinek added, noting that all “Harry Potter” films have been successful internationally over the years.
Meanwhile, , this last and first 3D “Harry Potter” film is also now the all-time top grosser opening film in the US, as well as the biggest single-day gross of all time in the country after it made $92.1 million on Friday.
